What are the chances

of getting a physical therapy appointment on a Saturday? Does anyone know how they typically do their scheduling? I have been prescribed PT 2 times/week for 4 weeks due to patella femeral pain and I dont know that it's feasible to take time off of work for it. Ive had this PT script from my ortho doctor since August and I havent gone due to work schedule and not wanting to take time off, but I think it's time I try to make it work.

Are they usually open in the evenings or on the weekends?

Depends on your area. Most only schedule appointments during the week and use Saturdays for anyone who had to cancel during the week.

Are you going to an outpatient clinic or inhouse hospital rehab center? Most outpatient PT clinics are open on Saturdays because they use Saturdays to cover the skilled nursing needs for local hospitals...like post surgical rehab.
