I slid across the floor on some silk pajamas in HS and landed on an angel food cake pan. I had a big thick black bruise that was a perfect circle on my ass and thigh. It looked completely stupid and it all happened during the synchonized swimming season so everyon saw it. It's hard to explain a large circular bruise.

I don't think you should give a crap if you had a cyst removed, but I cut my back pretty good once by falling against a sapling while I was squirrel hunting. Think of something creative. As long as it's semi-plausible and you tell the story earnestly, it shouldn't be a problem.
