When you bend over or squat and stand up qiuckly you will get dizzy. But taking A/S and problems with the heart is something you should go to the Doc for.

I think the number one symptom is when the little needle of the blood pressure cuff reads more than 140/90. I think the number 2 symptom is a stroke. Number three is death. Are you having any of these symptoms?

I just picked up a digital machine at the pharmacy, whats the best time to take my BP?

it's highest late morning/early afternoon, BUT, if you're trying to get a good feel for what your blood pressure is doing, it's very important to do two things when taking a measurement:

1) take it exactly the same way every time. that is to say, your body and arm should me in the exact same position each time you take it. this alone can cause great changes in readings if you don't. unless you're consistent with how you do it, you learn and monitor nothing. btw, the best way to take bp is sitting up (but leaning back on something) with the cuff as close to heart-level as possible and your elbow extended (arm pointing away from your body), but your arm should be resting on something (do not hold your arm up or out). and relax for a few minutes in the position you're going to take it before you take it.

2) take it at various times throughout the day, but again, try to be consistent.

hope this helps.

40butpumpin.. glad to see your checking these BP threads like me. I notice high BP and low test feelings are similar. also a bloated feeling.. maybe a litte anxious.

just had mine checked today like 30 minutes ago and it was high
had it checked 3 times, lowest reading being 157/78
I plan on having it checked once a day at the same time for the next week just to see if it remains this high.

If it does is there any OTC meds i can take or do i need something else?

I knew it was going to be high because of the Test and Dbol, but i didn't know how high.

for me it's just a feeling like i'm not at ease and i feel very uncomfortable with how i'm feeling. i know that's vague, but the feeling is also vague. but i do know that something isn't right. anxious, yes, but i think some or most of that is due to my body telling me something isn't how it should be. but that is when it has been quite high. pressure that is a little high is all but impossible for me to "feel."

bp will increase when lifting heavy: squats, deads, etc. this is in fact a normal thing and cannot be avoided. when using a valsalva manuever to stabilize your spine and core, bp can get so high for a few seconds that people have been known to pass out from it. doing this when your pressure is already quite high can be dangerous though. for this reason, it is definitely a good idea to keep an eye on if you have reason to suspect, or expect, it's up. i would never lift heavy if i know my pressure is high.

you know it's actually difficult to tell, however, with what you're talking about there's a good chance it's from excessive volume, or sodium/water retention. it would be a good idea in that case to greatly reduce your sodium intake (or try to restrict it completely), and drink plenty of good water. penta water if you can afford it but just for a while until it's back to normal as this water is completely mineral free which is not good for long periods either. water with at least magnesium is best, such as dasani, for long term. but if that doesn't work, a diuretic may be necessary. taurine in large quantities you also may want to try to. after that, i would recommend a renin-induced bp med which you can get through your doc or online. captopril in fact addresses the renin possibility and has been used by some bros here with good success. cycling should include these items (a diuretic, captopril, taurine, and good quality water), as much as any item in a cycle or pct imo.
