What are good jobs for students that actually pay decent?

the thing to watch playing online poker is cheating.
it is pretty rampant - both on the level of the place hosting the game, and the users.

on the good side - they HAVE fixed nearly all of the software issues that were in the programs in '95 or so when they all started showing up for the first time.
so that means that for the most part, only the human cheating is all you have to worry about.

I'll have to vouch for a campus job. They know about school, and that you are in it, so they relatively take it easy on you, and allow you to study and do homework and such. I did the customer service/phone type job and couldn't take it. I'm at a campus job now and basically get paid to talk on here and do homework. If I could be a student worker my entire life and just get pay raises to support my lifestyle needs, I'd be there.

Whats the job/pay like?

Campus jobs pay poorly.
And they get away with it because there are perks, like no commute, a boss who understands exam time (and even knows when they are!).

The down sides, poor pay, your boss is usually also an undergrad student (or worse a grad student) and they know your schedule.

Not neccessarily. In many cases this perhaps is the truth. I don't work for an academic sector of my university though. So in turn they are basically clueless about any academic happenings. There are a lot of on campus jobs that aren't directly associated with academics and that surprisingly enough don't always pay that badly. As well, for mine, don't know about all, I hardly get any taxes taken out of my paycheck because i work for the school. When you consider that, the low pay rates actually aren't all that low when you match them with other jobs. Plus all the perks.
