I'm glad to see I'm not the only one cutting this fall. I've been on a 2 year mass phase and have put down some good ground work. I was stuck at 250 for so long. I'm shooting for 270 at about 10% bf. I figured I would start cutting early and take my time. I have a real fast metabolism that eats muscle it seems as readily as it does fat. I'm going to manipulate my diet so I drop weight very slowly and spare as much muscle as I can while cutting fat. I plan on keeping carbs low, especially simple carbs, and protein high. I'm going to cut calories just below maintenance and monitor my progress over the course of several months. I'll tweak here and there as needed along the way. I'll do cardio 5 days a week following weight training. The exception would be leg day, as I never do cardio on leg day. I'll keep my training intensity high and at a fast pace and I'll train on an empty tummy to aid fat burning. I'll eat 6 small meals throughout the day, taking in my carbs (complex, except post workout) early in the day to provide energy and cut them out later as the pace of the day slows. Like you, I'll avoid bleached foods such as white bread. The cycle I have planned is very similiar to yours. I'll cycle 8 on/8 off throughout the cutting phase. Hopefully, all will go well. Good luck to you!
