Went to doctor!

alright i finally made it to the doctor. i explained to her about my bad headaches. she checked my blood pressure and said it was fine.she had no clue what could be causeing my headaches unless it was sinus infection. This sucks bro's. this is my 2nd week that i cant work out. she told me to come back today and see a different doc. so maybe he'll know something.

she asked me on a scale from 1-10 how bad does it hurt. i said 10. she freaked.

well i made it back to doctor today and heard some horrible news. he said he doesnt know whats casuing my headack\hes, but he doesnt want me to work out for another week. this sucks bad

i almost cried when he told me that. i told him thats all i have to do and i couldnt take off anymore, but he said ill never get rid of whatever i got if i keep hurting it

I would seek a second opinion. How can he be sure working out is not good for you if he does not even know the cause of your headaches!

A bad headache that a reason cant be found for it might be a sign of a blood clot in the brain. aka stroke. Ask them about this and see what they can test you for. A friends dad complained of terrible headackes for a couple days then had a stroke within the next week. It could be serious. Lifting should be the least of your concerns if this is the case. Hope everything turns out ok bro

if this headache is sudden and is the worst pain of your life, then you probably wont be able to read this or type anything if it is a subarachnoid hemorrhage. If its more of a migraine or cluster headache, then try taking some tylenol.

Lots of other questions to be asked though. Im sure your doc already talked to you. If she didnt rush you over to get a CT scan, then you are probably in the clear (which is my guess).

Sorry Hutch,
Did not mean to scare you, I just wouldnot want to see that happen to somebody else when it could be prevented, so I figured I would tell you that so you could at least get checked for it. Hopefully DocTodd is right and it is nothing serious.
