Amazing concert, I never thought I'd be able to see them again after they broke up.

I had one chance in highschool but I couldn't go because of a basketball tournament.

I barely believed I was there until they came up on stage *orgasm*

It rained for about 2 hours before the concert, at Alpine Valley, it's basically a huge earth bowl....it was muddy as fuck and I saw some hilarious shit...people falling everywhere, people trying to mosh and owning themselves, great shit...

Here's the opening vid:

There is a shitload of vids on youtube....

Anyone else see Rage on this latest tour? Alpine Valley is the only place they came to in the midwest....

i...uh...played some rage on my ipod. :(

far out, though. good for you. did they play Know Your Enemy? was it one of the better performances of the evening? how was killing in the name?

if you remember, or can link me to, the set list, that would be cool.

No they didn't play know your enemy, I wanted to see that as that is one of my favorite rage songs, but oh well...

Here's the setlist:

Testify
Bulls on Parade
People of the Sun
Bullet in the Head
Vietnow
Tire Me
Take the Power Back
Calm Like a Bomb
Guerilla Radio
Bombtrack
Sleep Now in the Fire
Wake Up

I was surprised they played Vietnow & Tire me (Vietnow, another of my favs) and I loved every second.

Hopefully they'll do something with themselves.

I think Zach realized he needs a rock band to rap with, not fuckin studio sounds....

Lucky you bro. Glad it was a great concert. I hear they're supposed to be the loudest rock band out there, not sure if there's truth to that or not.

turn on the radio, nah, fuck it, turn it off...

love that song

i like everything on that set list, but the last 2 aren't especial favourites of mine.

I'm not a huge fan of sleep now in a fire myself...

wake up was an encore....I do like that song

Songs I wish I could have heard:

Know your enemy
Township Rebellion
Anything off "Renegades of Funk" I know they are covers but some of that shit performed by Rage gets my adrenaline flowin....

township rebellion is a fucking great song. freedom, well, hard to beat that one. new millennium homes is good too. off renegades, there i'm housin and microphone fiend (this one kicks much ass).

They got back together??? I saw them perform at Continental Arena and Jones Beach Amphitheatre

watching the bulls on parade video where he electrifies the crowd is the best. he had them in a trance.

You didn't hear about that?

wtf dude - it was big news, after audioslave broke up...they toured around 10 cities...mostly on the west coast, I believe.

RATM is an awesome band...and that youtube video doesnt do them justice, the audio sounds like shit.

They're the only band I've ever heard that sounded almost as good live as they do of a cd.
