Weight Gainer's

Do you guys think that taking a weight gainer like "Ultimate Nutrition's ISO Mass Extreme Gainer" while eating and working out works or do you think I'm throwing my money away?

I wouldn't use a weightgainer while eating OR working out tbh. I used a couple different types years back but they were all very big. If you tried to drink that during your workout you wont feel like working out you'll feel like collapsing onto the bed and going to sleep lol. And if you are eating you don't need a weight gainer because food > weight gainers. I would use the weight gainer when you do not have time too eat or make a meal like if your leaving the house to go somwhere. Or if you plan on being gone somwhere for a while pack a lunch and bring one of those as a 2nd meal.
 
So not a total waste of my money. Just as a backup and not a necessity. Thanks bro!

One weight gainer I used that worked very well a long time ago was Prolabs N Large 2...but now I understand that 99% of the weight gainers on the market are nothing but protein with shit loads of sugar added to them. Like the product product I just mentioned. It worked because it bogged my body down with useless calories. Weigth gainers are designed to destroy a good thing. In other words people with a fast metabolism are blessed. They have what is known as a very high insulin response to food. When they eat their body kicks into overdrive quickly and insulin spikes. The insulin starts sending nutrients to organs, Proteins and carbs to the muscles and a energy burning process goes into effect quickly.

Many hard gainers like this have no Idea just how truly blessed they are to have this. They simple need to learn how to use it to their advantage and they can be the hardest largest beast on the planet. Yet more often then not they end up falling pray to good marketing of shitty products. Weight gainer shakes are loaded with massive amounts of poor grade sugar/carbs, and shitty fats. With one main focus. To slow down your metabolism and Kill your god given gift of naturally high insulin response. Half the world would give their left ball sack to be blessed the way you are yet you squander this gift by bogging it down and killing it forever.

Sugar and simple carbs are like a drug and the objective of almost all weight gainers is to slam your body with so damn much of this drug that your body finally stops having the same reaction it once had to it. You no longer get the massive and quick spike , food no longer gets used up quickly and sent to where it needs to go or excreted as waste when not needed in its 3-4 hour window. Now It hangs around getting broken down much more slowly. The end result equals you start to gain weight Yippy fucking Skippy for you. You lost one of the greatest tools you could have ever had simple because you fell for good marketing of bad carbs, Way to go!!!

Now if one were smart they would put that fast metabolism of theirs to good use. Eat 7 meals a day consisting of a 40/30/30 split protein/carbs/good fats. You should be eating your body weight times 20 if you are a hard gainer. Body weight times 20 equals your total caloric daily intake. Then split that into 40 percent total protein calories, 30 percent carbs and 30% good fats.

Your body uses calories and nutrients very quickly so your best bet is to not only focus on keeping your total daily caloric intake high but also focus on only using the
best forms of protein, sups,carbs, fats you can get. If you got your head completely wrapped around gainer shakes and simple can not get your mind off of them. Then at the very least stop wasting your money on the store brand made versions. All they do is take a regular protein shake and add in 2lb of sugar then charge you triple for it. Make your own weight gainer shake. i make a post workout shake with around 50 grams of whey protein isolate, 50 grams of maltodextrin, 50 grams of dextrose, super plasma protein, and creatine mono, and i love it....am i pushing it with the malto tho?
