Weight gainer?

Cobin

New member
Are weight gainers good? I read some labels and their just like empty calories 900 calories and 1 or 2 grams of fat at the most, I find it hard to eat so much food durning the day, should I supplement with a weightgainer or would it be better to stick with real food?

Thanks in advance.

real food!

weightgainers arent all that in my opinion. they fill em with simple sugars o up the calories, and stick in some protein to boot

whole food beats anything else. i use a whey shake with some caesin every dsay because im lazy, but whole food will gove you fibre etc

what do u find hard about eating so much (i find it hard too im just curious? :) )

I get a bit bloated sometimes, but solid food is still the way to go. If you're really set on a weight gainer, try ProLab N-Large2. A good MRP is Muscletech MesoTech. Try to eat as much solid food as you can, and only use these if need be for meal replacement.

if you're being bloated and cant down your meals then it's time to start breaking it all down into even more smaller meals throughout the day. if you have a job, explain to them your "problem". if in school, I dunno what to tell ya, work something out after you come home.

but anyway, you really don;t need "weight gainers" what you need are hi quality meal replacements.

Cobin, Im the same as you, I get pretty bloated and gasy when I eat as well. Doc says I have irritable bowl syndrom so thats why I cant take food very well. I found when I eat clean low fat foods, my stomach feels better. I.E. Chick breasts, very lean burger patties, and pastas. I have to eat in very small portions many times in a day. It sucks ass to have to eat like 6 times a day, but its better than ripping ass all day due to being bloated.

Myoplex Mass (strawberry) taste real good. Add 2cups of milk and you have 700 cals and abanana 800cals, just keeps going up from there. And dont forget to add some extra virgin olive oil, the stuff is real good for you. But start out adding it alittle at a time, might mess up your stomach. Its around 120cals per tablespoon

Rather then olive oil... add flax seed oil... around the same amount of cals...

I don't take to a lot of food that well either, but cutting dairy down helps with the bloating...
