Weight Gainer while on AAS?

krbn08

New member
i want to put on as much muscle as i can for my first cycle.

i want to make an enormous gain in size as i can while on AAS.

So my question is . . .

Will a weight gainer help add more muscle than i would with a regular

while on AAS? Will it make a difference? Will it put more muscle on me?

it might help a little bit if u dont poop it all out...remember it takes time to put on quality muscle...sure u can put 30 pounds on in 2 months juicen and eatin like shit but i guarentee u 27 pounds of it is fat and water retention.....thats the mistake i made when i first startin juicin....i put like 40 pounds on in one summer but it was all shit weight...and it took me a long time to get rid of that shit weight and put on quality size...i remember when i first started i got my weight up to almost 250 and i could barely bench 315 one time....now i weigh like 254 and i can rep 315 with ease

Would it put more size on than without it?

Yes -- if it's in ADDITION to an adaquate diet. Nothing by itself will put on weight. It still comes down to calories. Even steroids can't work without enough protein. Most weight gainers are just protein with a lot of sugar calories. BIG BLAST is in another league.

Shameless plug alert - LOL.
Increasing your calories will increase your potential to build muscle. Some calories are easier to consume and digest than others. It's always easier to drink calories than to eat them. I don't believe any one weight gain formula is automatically better than all others. Just my 2cc.
Personally I just add 50 grams whey protien to 3 cups skim milk, 2 tablespoons peanut butter, 1 cup ice cream, 1 tablespoon flax oil, and I blend it up for 1050 calories of pleasure. :jenscat

On cycle, you'll need as protein as you can eat, thats what builds the muscles. So just get some protein powder and consume it a few times during the day.

GUILTY AS CHARGED. : )

EXACTLY -- WHICH IS WHY A WEIGHT GAINER SHOULDN'T FILL YOU UP AND KILL YOUR APPITITE. DOWNING A LIQUID EXTRA 500 CALORIES BETWEEN MEALS IS A LOT EASIER THAN EATING THEM.

IN GENERAL , YOU'RE RIGHT. PROTEIN IS PROTEIN, CARBS ARE CARBS AND FATS ARE FATS. BUT WOULDN'T YOU SAY CREATINE ADDS WEIGHT? SOME GAINERS HAVE IT, SOME DON'T. AND ONLY BIG BLAST HAS SDPP WHICH RESEARCH PROVES HAS HIGHER NITROGEN RETENTION PROPERTIES PLUS IGF-1. THAT'S A DIFFERENCE.

BUT THEN YOU'RE BACK TO A VERY THICK, FILLING DRINK. IF I DRANK A SHAKE WITH PEANUT BUTTER AND ICE CREAM I WOULDN'T WANT TO EAT FOR HOURS. THE FRUIT FLAVORED BIG BLAST IS LIKE HAVING A SNAPPLE. 10 MINUTES LATER YOU'RE HUNGRY. OF COURSE YOU CAN ALWAYS GET THE CHOCOLATE AND MIX IT WITH HALF ANF HALF AND ICE CREAM. IT'LL TASTE AMAZING AND BE AROUND 1000 CALORIES.
:) :)

gotta disagree with 27 of the 30lbs being fat and water....

if you are unable for whatever reason to get all the cals that you need in clean foods, I say by all means sneak in a shake...

does that mean you should substitue 2-3 meals with weight gainer noo,,,, but to throw in a shake a day for an extra 400- 500 cals is not bad ....

judge by how your body is responding, if you are gagging down as much clean food as you can, and not seeing the weight you want, then add another shake..

just be realistic about goals and dont sub out real whole foods,, but in addition to a good bulking diet my opinion would be go for it...

Stay away from weight gainers...they're full of crap, even if they do have protein. You'll find yourself gaining size, but not the kind you want! Get yourself some regular 'ol protein powder... get your calories from good carbs such as whole grain pasta/bread, brown rice, oatmeal... and especially add in good fats (almonds, olive oil, flax oil, seeds). These fats will also give you a good amount of calories... throw in ANPB for extra calories. And for the record, I happen to like Big Blast... I've made some nice gains from it.

Agreed. You also have to give your body the signal that it needs to carry extra weight. You have to constantly feed it. No one can grow just pure muscle. You have to get some weight first to solidify a size spurt. And you must eat. The shakes just adds that little extra, and a shake that is of a high quality does so with extra nutrition, not just empty calories. You can get plenty of calories from FOOD!

nj brought up a good point about the empty carbs that are in there.....

but... if you are a hard gainer and burn a lot of cals its not so bad a thing..

Me personally could eat 4500 cals clean for the most part and not really put on weight... if bulking I gotta hit 5000 + which is a task and a half if trying to eat clean..

is the weight gainer a magic bullet ..no... but as i said if due to your work/ whatever you can not consume enough cals, it can work in a pinch...
