weight gain while cutting on cypionate??

Hi for starters i hope I'm In the right section.im 26 and was having a hard time losing weight even after diet and excersie. Brother recommended cypionate 300mg to cut weight.so i did the research and decided to go through with it.was told since it was my first cycle i didn't have to worry about estrogen blockers or anything like that and also to take a day burner like hydroxycut which i am as well as multi vitamin b12 and b12 complex for maximum fat loss.i drink protein twice a day and eat extremely healthy lean meats vegetables fruits nuts all that good stuff. Also im an former marine so i train pro hard at no less then 6 miles a day hi intensity cardio for about an hour hour and a half a day.i noticed that iv gained 8 pds and have no energy or desire to workout anymore.im not cutting at all and was wondering why this is i am stronger but nothing static.what am i doing wrong?any help is greatly appreciated. (Also sorry again if this is in the wrong spot)
 
You're doing a lot wrong. Whoever said you don't need to control estrogen on your first cycle is a clueless moron and there's no science or logic behind that. Your E is through the roof because test aromatizes and it's making you feel like ass and may give you a nice set of tits. Get some aromasin and dose it at 12.5mg eod and you'll start feeling better. This will also drop the water retention the elevated estrogen is causing. If you're eating to cut, you'll cut bodyfat but you still may see increases on the scale because it's your first cycle and youre adding quite a bit of muscle mass. Go by the mirror because the scale will throw you off

assuming your diet and exercise was actually ample. why would you expect to lose weight while using a drug that promotes muscle growth? Weight on the scale doesnt properly express compositional changes.

The sides you are experiencing is likely due to high estrogen because your not using an AI.

Lastly if you cant lose some fat with clean diet and exercise then you have a sluggish thyroid and need iodine (lugols solution, not kelp crap) and selenium. B vits are great BUT most supps have poor quality ingredients. Cyanocobalamin (b12) is junk so is folic acid(b9). You need methylcobalamin (b12) and methylfolate(b9).

First, you are most likely holding a bit of water because you are not using an AI. I would start aromasin at 12.5mg everyday, then switch to every other day after a couple weeks.

Second, your elevated test levels have activated more nitrogen retention in your muscles. This will lead to fuller muscles, which will intern make you way more. I know when I start a cycle, I jump up 10-15 pounds in the first couple weeks just because of this.

Third, you most likely feel sluggish because your Estrogen is high.. which can be causing a lot of issues like high blood pressure. Get that taken care of with the AI like stated above and you should be feeling better.

Fourth, when on cycle.. you should use the mirror to access progress more than the scale. Steroids can be a mind fuck sometimes.
 
What would be a good ai and where could i obtain one?recommend?thanks again for all the help

not really. You will want anastozole (adex), letrozol or aromasin. As I already mentioned the forum sponsers carry this stuff. Look at the banners at the top of the site or in the main forum listing.
 
Ok got it my next question is while im waiting for this to come in is their something o could take in the meantime while i wait for the ai to come in the mail?

Assuming high esterogen is the problem then yes it will help but its going to take some time. AI's dont do anything about current E, they simply reduce the rate at which its converted from test.
 
What happens with the existing estrogen?
It simply has to be metabolized by the body. You can take Calcium D-glucarate and/or DIM to help speed it along.
 
Your body has to metabolize it. How long that will take depends on your E level. I don't see how long you've been running without one but the initial water weight loss should happen within a few days.
 
Ok i take cypionate 1time a week at 300mg last week was my 4th pin so been on about 4weeks now.Will pick up some calcium d today as well
 
4 weeks @ 300mg isn't too bad. You should see the water weight drop pretty quickly.

I have to question the wisdom of your decision though. Being your first cycle, you could gain some lean mass as well as water weight as you have experienced. The scale weight only tells part of the story. Scale weight combined with BF % is more telling. Also, personally, I find it harder to diet on test. Test makes me hungry. The only reason I cut on test is to be able to hang on to more muscle and for me, I find that there is no difference at 200mg/week or 500mg/week in that regard so I opt for the lower.

If you were monitoring your BF % you could have a better handle on your progress regardless of water weight or lean mass gain.
 
Has hard time losing weight so jumps on gear to lose weight... what!?! Do you even make sense

Yes jumps on gear because when cutting naturally had a problem with loosing muscle so got.on gear to help combat this as well as have the extra push to go even harder in the gym.




I dont mind gaining lean mass as long as my actual body fat goes down.my hunger hasnt really changed much from before i was on.also besides the scale i can visually see the weight gain chubbier cheeks thicker legs stomach and sides bigger so not just the scale
 
I'm on Test E 350mg a week, controlling Estrogen with an Ai and my weight has increased by 2 lbs. [3rd week]
 
That's awesome my weight is mostly water though hopefully i start losing fat and building muscle soon wouldn't mind gaining weight in muscle

There has to be a problem in your diet then. Post up your diet including macro breakdown and total calories
 
We all know his diet is the problem , I personally don't use AAS but I've been around bodybuilding so long that it's just a known fact you don't jump on gear to lose weight , the problem with bro science is that everybody is different and reacts to things differently , so what works for your buddy May or may not work for you. And you can do cardio for 20 hours a week if your diet isn't on point you'll still gain or maintain weight. People are so stubborn when it comes to dieting , and 90% of the time they aren't truthful nor could they tell you exactly what they eat on a day to day basis because they don't keep track. To sum this rant up if weight loss is your goal your first priority should be to figure out you maintenance calories and set up a diet with a caloric deficit. Get your diet planned out and monitor ow your body reacts about every 2 weeks. If your not dropping weight , guess what ?!!?!?? Your eating too much !!!!! People lose touch with their body as far as metabolism and age is concerned. I made the classic diet mistakes for 10 years but when you finally get a grasp on it you feel stupid for not realizing the things that mattered. Dieting is a billion dollar industry for a reason , so understand the reality of how important it is. There are supplements that are out there to help speed things along but you have to have a solid diet starting point and be able to see results from it before you start throwing a bunch of drugs in the mix.
 
Everything you said was true i Totally understand That diet its comes first and is most important.but I'm honestly eating a good diet well i think i am anyway.my meal plan is in the morning is small bowl of oatmeal and orange juice Which usually lasts a while because im never hungry in the morning,then for lunch 2 chicken breasts with broccoli cauliflower and string beans,usually have this again for dinner then a shake before bed and occasinally nuts or fruits between meals if i happen to get hungry thats pretty much my every day meal plan fruits vegatables nuts meats and my protein shake followed by tons of water.
 
I think drop the OJ and fruits perhaps your eating too much of it, that contains alot of carbs (sugars)also the beans contains carbs also any sauces u use for ur chicken and milk in your protein.
 
you need carbs in the morning and pre and post workout , a good meal replacement in between your breakfast and lunch and btween lunch and dinner would be great , only veggies with your other meals no starchy carbs , you need to incorporate some protein with that oatmeal in the morning as well , other than that ditch any nuts , snacks , drinks , juice , milk , cheese , bread , rice , and pasta. if you arent going to use a meal replacement some tuna and 2 rice cakes would be a perfect replacement , you want about 250 calories no more. if your serious about losing weight you need to be consistent to see what will make your body change then make adjustments from there. you make your diet sound effective but i know from experience that juice and nuts and any little snacks however small can add up 3-400 calories which could very well put you at maintenance or even into a caloric surplus
 
Ok ill take out all nuts and juice iv already taken out rice pasta and such.thanks guys for the input will post update in the next week or so for results
