I have been back, hitting the weights for a little over a month now. My weight and strength is coming back slowly but surely. I am only working my upper-body now and I will start working my lower body once my upper-body strength is up to par. Lower-body work will probably start in another 30 days.
I weighed 274 lbs. 12 days ago. I weighed 290 lbs. today. Not bad. Most of it is probably water weight and a little fat but at least my equipment fits again.
Hopefully I will be up over 300 lbs. in the next 30 days. I am shooting for 320 lbs. and then I will cut back down to the 308's to compete.
Damn, I wish my strength levels were comparable to my bodyweight. Just need time, I guess.
