webcast software - any tips?

Looking for something (cheap or free) that will enable me to set up a webcam at work and at home and talk/see to my wife live.

I thought most people went to work to get the hell away from each other.

Anyway. I think just about any webcam you buy will be bundled with webcasting software.

The whole thing about hooking it up for communication with my wife was just a code... it's really so I can talk to my dog.

LOL!!!

I bought a logitech a few years ago and it had a software bundle with it. I'll be getting a new one in a few weeks since my son turned the old one into a teething toy about a year ago...Poor web cam didn't stand a chance.
