it saved my dads life in november 2005 when a tornado hit at 150 am , it gave them enough time to get to the basement before the tornado ripped the half of the house where my little brothers bedroom is off.

To get woken up so that I can save myself and my children.Maybe if I were single and not a parent I would feel the same way. But I am a mother and my first job/duty is to save and protect my kids. Even if I have only a 5 minute opportunity to save them, damn it I am going to do it.....No offense to you or any thing. But 5 minutes to save my kids is a whole hell of a lot better than watching or hearing them get hurt or have them die..The guilt of knowing that I did not even try nor want to would probably cause me to kill myself to endure what they had to.
Thanks Pickle3...Funny as it seems motherhood is all I know..Been one since I was 17, so it kinda grows on oneself. They mean the world to me, and if given the option I would give my life for them
