Congrats, cockface. Yanks just gave the fuck up - I am very disappointed in them. It was going to happen eventually - you can't continue to own a team decade after decade in this league. Just watch out you don't fall into the same trap as the Yanks did last year - to Red Sox fans, lastnight was the World Series, which is kind of sad. Without that ring, you guys are nothing.

Can a mod stick this for me? In all fairness, my thread "Did you really doubt the REDSOX?" has been a sticky since they lost to the Yankees in Game 7 last year on the Professional and Coll. board. I think the REDSOX fans deserve something like this to be a sticky even for just a few days, since we had to be reminded about Aaron Boone's walk off homerun for a year!!! What's fair is fair, and please leave this in the Chat & Conv. board so more people can see it and reply.

Front runner (fair weather fan) is a person who jumps on the band wagon when a team becomes good. I've been a REDSOX fan and all of NEW ENGLAND TEAMS for that matter, since I was about 6 years old. If I didn't post much while the REDSOX were "down", then I was busy cause I have a life, but you will notice that I have started many threads and posted on many threads, in good times and in bad for all my teams. Grow up man, it's the internet!!!
