It's ok. If they start advancing, we'll declare them part of the poor and launch a government program to help them. That will stop their advancement dead in its tracks.
I once read an observation of either chimps or bonobos, I forget, in which small grains were scattered all over the sand in an attempt to see how they'd react to searching for their food that way, and one of the female chimps/bonobos figured out if she picked up armfuls of sand and threw it in the water, the sand would sink and the grains would float - so they all started doing it that way, which was infinitely more effective than picking them out one by one.

I remember seeing that! it was the "snow monkeys" (japanese macaques) suckers also know to wash their food which also condiments it with salt.... jeez.
