Booyah.. Now I got why this song reminds me of WB and his gurl
If anyone has ever seen the movie Magnolia, which was a pretty decent movie from a great director.
Anyway, in the movie,my favorite character was the cop played by john c reilly.
Well WB, I know the juxtaposition, or better yet paradox that U face every day, and well kinda embody. I mean through confronting the darkness within, not embracing, confronting... U re-cognize it. It troubles U. However out of this recognition, the innate value of love, warmth, connection also emerge. Most people just run from the darkness, hell some even embrace it. You have expressed your own recognition of it. Thing is its not yours to own, and U gotta stop identifying with it, its not U, its in all of us to varying degrees. Darkness, ignorance, separation, whateva U wanna call it. However paradoxically within U is a child like gentleness, its a yearning to reconnect to the divine, to be fulfilled, to be free. From this side emerges the staunch desire to protect, to hold, to make sure that the light she brings outward in U never fades. U don't wanna ever have her face this darkness. U wanna keep her shielded from the darkness that pervades us all.

I see that In U, and I see that In this character that John Reilly is an archetype of. U remind me of him... this character.

Krishnamurti, an indian sage once said it is through the suffering that U end suffering. He also said that truth is revealed in the process not the outcome. See, WB it is through the transition, the becoming, the struggle that the darkness is sublimated into love. What is love, but an appreciation in its highest sense of life. My point is I think its through your self inquiry or introspection, that a genuine, radiant love can emerge. I'm thinking on the archetypal level here. However to think this is not real would be completely ignorant and cowardly.

This dude kicks so much ass in the movie if U haven't seen it. Damn I could've used this in the celebrity thread... cockblocking myself, oh well.
If peeps have seen the movie, they will 'feel' this. Great movie in my opinion. The genius in this creation is something I sincerely cannot fathom.
Anyway watch the clip and U sense this, this yearning to protect they are so complementary, its beautiful, to me anyway. U got this same thing, this genuine sincere innate impulse to protect, to value, to cherish, to love. We all do, however through conditioning and the routinization that daily life requires in this timeperiod, most of us get numb to ourselves and others. The kid passes away. Most of us try to distract us from the truth we sense, and thats in alot of peeps. A lot of peeps. Despite the SSRI, benzodiazepenes, the quiet desperation only gets worse.

However there are peeps who can reawaken this, and this feeling can be contagious enough to spark life back into others. This I dig.
There, I have answered my own question. Now I can go home and take a much needed nap before work.
