Waxing (O/T)

a 12-pack

Iv'e got hair on the back of my neck and down my shoulders a bit, (came from last cycle), my old g-friend insisted on waxing it. Lets just say that I know what it would have been like to be tortured.

i use that nads shit its like a honey based wax....you just put it on and pull off...dotn hurt at all...or just shave.....lol...i shave every other day...i hate it...but its cheaper then waxing

I am kinda scared to run my next cycle, bucause each cycle I run, I get small patches of hair on my body. There is already another one starting down on my lower back on the left side. There is also one on my left outer arm (up by my tri). I was a at a beach last summer and came out of the water and thought that it was actually seaweed stuck to my arm. I couldnt notice it before because it was so light. Its just weird how its so patchy. I think that I have it pinpointed that its from test. Needless to say, I will be keeping the test relatively low this upcomming cycle.

Mavy

Nair sucks. It only gets the above the skin part of the hair anyways. Waxing is the best route, albeit more painful. Next year, I am going to spring for the laser treatments.

And Mavy, if the back of your neck and shoulders is the only area you have waxed, then you have NO idea what torture feels like. Try a more sensitive area! (or not!)

After a wax job, the hair grew back almost just as fast as a shave job. Save some pain and shave.

probably the waxing broke the hair off at the surface. when i wax it usually lasts 2-3 months.

for the guy with the pain.........the more you wax the less painful it becomes.

If you suck up the pride and go to a salon, its less painful and it does seem to last much longer than the home jobs do.

Let's all stop being babies. I go and get waxed every other month. The more you do it, the less painful it becomes. Not to mention that it is pretty cheap. Just make sure they put powder on you first.( hard lesson to learn) Next time I am going to get a Brazilian. WOHOOOOOOO.

Agreed, you get what you pay for.

Last week I tried laser hair removal for the first time and they sold me anesthetic cream to put on an hour before the procedure.
It was less painful then waxing, but I dont know how much the cream helped.

My doc told me that it takes more treatments if you have previously been waxing. If you just shave it takes less. Also helps if you are not tanned, so I am thinking next winter to go for it.

I believe it! Shoulders didnt seem to bad, but the back of my neck felt like she ripped off the skin, and a layer of muscle as well. I bet that chest would be extremeley painfull. I stick with a razor for now.
