Alright well my sister and i were having an arguement about water.... can you gain weight from water or not? :confused:
 
from plain water, NO
 
Actually it depends on what you consider to be gaining weight. If you are dehydrated, you will weigh a little less. Therefore, it stands to reason, that there will be some point, before you pee it out, if you drink a lot of water you will weigh more. Just thought I would throw this out there.

NO WAY!!!!

WATER IS THE BEST THING TO DRINK IF YOU ARE TRYING TO LOOSE WEIGHT. Remember though, that if you drink alot of water and then step on a scale your weight will be more (thats why its recommended that you weigh yourself early in the morning) Anyways it leaves your system quickly and cleans it out too so whoever told you water makes you put on weight is talking crap
 
I agree with all of you that you can't gain weight, but i stood and fought with NateDogg's arguement. :D
 
I drink 2 gallons of water a day...

It is great and you cannot get enough of it. Any water weight will fluxuate anyway. Drink a lot of water, it's good for you.

**Side note, some substances will hold water, but we will not get into that.
