Water or Milk

Well simple question.I sometimes read its better to take your whey , weight gainer and other protein shakes in water instead of milk because of better absorption.
Is this true ??
 
Yes, especially after a workout.

Before bed I use milk, as it has addition casein (sp?) protein in it, and it helps slow the absorption and stretch it out.
 
Post workout, you want not just whey with water, but whey with water and a 50/50 mix of dextrose and maltodextrin.
 
I've just started taking my shakes with water instead of skim milk.

I think they, not only taste better, but are much, MUCH easier to ingest.

I'm doing things differently from now on.

Also, will be easier for me to carry my MRPs on the road with me when I work.
