You know what I think is most interesting about it all is that, when noting the expressions on the audience's faces and the applause, it would've been obvious from that alone that this wasn't taking place in America. Why? Because ironically enough, even though we have the most gay-friendly society of any developed nation, most everyone under 30 or perhaps even older here in the States would have the most difficulty watching it with a straight face (no pun intended); with nothing but "homoerotic" at the very least or more likely "incredibly gay" running through their heads when watching that clip, regardless of the performers' sexual orientation. Not so for wherever it was actually taking place. Strange.

My godfather, an old-school Italian who works too much to "get" present day American society, sent me that vid simply with the comment, "Get yourself in shape and go on tour with these guys."

It lends me to believe that American society truly has become an anomaly.
