i went to mexico to pick up some supplements the other day. no anabolics. i got some novla, prov, soma's, clen, cytomel, one young border police had a hard on for me and asked me if i had ant steroids i said no and told hime what i had he said i didnt no what i was talking about all of those are steroids. he really wasnt sure because i insisted they were not so he had to check. to make a long story short he took them and let me go. but i know the law is u can bring 50units of these drugs per person to us . was i jacked?

that's fucked up.

years ago, the same shit happened to me.
t.j border. they took my gear and let me go.

bastards!!!!!:alien:

It's my understanding that you have to have a prescription to bring that stuff across... 50 units with a prescription. The boarder police at the CA/Mex boarder view it like that....

The texan boarder, I can't remember the crossing, had a mix up, but I think they have fixed it.

the interpretation is a bit off. You MAY be able to bring it past the boarder... but you need a prescript to have legal possession of it... which means, that any official could take it away.

If you read on in the custom's website, you'll see where it mentions something about needing a prescription... it is in a seperate section, I believe... it's not listed in that section... so it can, in effect, cancel out the first part.

Leaves alot open to interpretation.

your right, it does leave alot open. i guess i also only want to believe what my interpretation is. thanks for the help.

Yes, a lot of our laws are open to interpretation. But it's important to distinguish between controlled substances and non-controlled medications when analyzing a border case. Different rules apply. 21 USC 956(a) has the personal use exemption for 50 dosage units of controlled substances without a script. But this law must be interpreted in light of the DEA's regulations in 21 CFR 1301.26. Regarding non-controlled meds, the Food, Drugs and Cosmetics Act and FDA guidances (ex., the 3 month supply) apply. It's a bit confusing, but I explain it all in easy-to-read language in Chapter 8 of LEGAL MUSCLE.
