Ok ladies I am finally going to post my very first log...I am nervous because I tend to skimp a little...But I am determined to get down to 20% bf or less, that is my goal....I have not done a recent caliper measurement, I stay the hell away from the scale, cause I just get mad....I was 29.9% bf, a few months ago, I have been keeping my diet clean pretty much consistent, give or take a holiday here or there, but pretty much on track..I work out about 5-6 days a week.

I just want to have something in writing so I can see my progress and intake daily...Any input is GREATLY APPRECIATED...All of you veterans have been awesome with the advice, I really owe alot of my recent success to you ladies who have given me advice....YOU ARE TOO COOL!!!

8:00 2 glucorell R
2 Sesamax
1 T-rex

8:30 Whey protein shake 10 oz.

11:30am 6-7oz grilled chicken breast
2 cups mixed salad greens
10 baby carrots
1/2 c. lowfat cottage cheese
2 tbs. rice vinegar
2 tbs. flaxseed oil
(Pretty much a big salad mixed together)

2:30pm Whey protein shake 10 oz.
handful of raw almonds.

5:00pm small green apple
1/2 c. cottage cheese
2 Sesamax
1 T-rex

I go to the gym at this time:

LEG DAY

Hack Squats - 45x3 sets of 12
Leg press - 90x3 sets of 12
Leg Extensions - 40x10, one leg at a time 20x10 for 3 sets
Lying hamstring curl - 50x3 sets of 15
Standing hamstring curl - 25x3 sets of 12
Abds - crunch machine 25x3 sets
Decline abds 12 x3 sets

8:oopm Grilled chicken
1/2 c. rice (white) I know should be brown, ran out.
1/2 c. vegi's steamed.

8:30am Plain bagel
1/2 c. lowfat cottage cheese w/strawberries.

11:30a 12 oz Whey protein shake
2 Sesamax

2:00p tuna sandwich on whole wheat bread, light mayo...
lettuce and tomatoe.

Great news about logging - you've been doing so well - I know you'll be able to achieve your goal. Looking forward to reading your daily progress :)
 
Thanks everyone...I really enjoy this sight....YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN VERY INSPIRATIONAL FOR ME.....

I have another question...I have been doing cardio after I do weight training for about 20 mins. then I do dry sauna for another 10 mins. I do this about 5 days a week, should I break up my routine to do weights one day, then cardio the next day, and if so should I do sauna everyday?

I just want to get full benefit from my workouts, I just need to tweak it a little...
 
12/08/09 ok today really sucked...I didn't eat right, I didn't go to the gym...I feel like a blob...We had our xmas luncheon at work and I ate it...It was so good...So now today I have to eat extra clean, and hit the gym super hard...It was worth it though...but I have committed to logging something everyday whether it is good or bad....

I had prime rib with mashed potatoes and steamed vegi's..side salad

and to top it all off I had a slice of chocolate mouse pie....UMMMMMMMMMM

ALTHOUGH I AM BACK TO MY REGIME THIS MORNING.

1C. COTTAGE CHEESE WITH ABOUT 10 GRAPES...

SO FAR THATS IT FOR THIS MORNING, I WILL POST AGAIN IN THE AFTERNOON..

Ok - I am continuing my day...

I was running late so I didn't have time to pack my lunch, so I am living off of cafeteria food till I get home this afternoon.

12:30p - Salmon (baked)
1 c. carrots steamed
spinach salad w/1 tbs. vinegar and oil.

3:00pm - Naked Protein Smoothie (28gms protein)
(this is a substitute protein drink)
2 Sesamax
2 Glucorell R

Looking good except a couple of little things I've noticed.....don't make the grapes and baby carrots a habbit, k? Too much simple sugar. For a sweet veggie, go to a low GI sweet tater! ... a little splenda & cinnamon or apple pie spice and your set (I ususally add a little whipped margarine to mine). Probably not real yummy in a salad though......try some broccoli, peppers or other green veggie in the salad.

Are you logging in Fitday? I don't see any totals or macros.....

Great job on starting the log and good luck!!!! :)
 
I will start logging in fitday, I already have it set up..I just need to be really consistent...Its kinda hard, cuz I do most of this at work, and I get called away alot, and then I forget to go back and log..But EF is my first am priority.

I am will to take any kind of pointers you may have....OK I did the most terrible thing just now and weighed myself, so now i am depressed...BUT I MUST SAY, I CAN SEE BICEP LINES IN MY ARMS, AND MY TRICEPS ARE STARTING TO GET THE HORSESHOE LOOK...SO I AM REALLY PROUD ABOUT THAT. MY SHOULDERS ARE STARTING TO LOOK LIKE SHOULDERS... :verygood: I KNOW THIS SOUNDS CORNEY, BUT YOU NEED TO SEE WHERE I CAME FROM TO WHERE I AM NOW....I JUST NEED TO GET MY MEASUREMENTS AND ACCURATE WEIGHT, BUT I JUST WANT TO CRY..

Just coming off a weekend break, TERRIBLE, busy with xmas parties and such...

Anyway, back on track today.

7oz protein shake

Don't cry! Just stick with it!!!!! You can do it!!! :) It takes time so try to be patient.
 
Sorry I've been gone lately, I have been out of town for work. Anyway, back on track...
