A freind of mine recently interviewed for CSIS, wich is the Canadian version of the CIA/NSA.

She has a bachelor degree in German, and is currently getting her masters. Beyond that she has no relevent experience. Most of her previous jobs are just run of the mill stuff...waiteresing and the like.

I imagine a language degree in Chinese or Arabic would be pretty usefull right about now...

Your major depends on what field you want to work in.

I majored in CS, disciplined in AI/Neural Nets. Did a stint with the NSA doing crypto work.

Best way to ensure you get accepted is to also be fluent in a foriegn language as well as have a 4 year degree.
