let me clarify that also. no, those people did not know for sure that they would be able to loot, but yes they do understand that there is a possiblity they can loot due to the simple fact that most of the time storms knock out power and citizens evacuate and there will be no one to stop them.

I'm sure it's been said several times in this thread but....I agree with you're disgust w/ people looting things like TV's, jewelry, and beer. Food and water or diapers-essentials-that's one thing. People need to survive, but no one needs a TV right now...no freakin' power anyway

I also saw the report of the woman who "misplaced" her child while carrying two cases of beer. There was no mention of her race in the article (and I'm not watching video; print is horrifying enough). I didn't see any in 75th's recounting of it, either.

Why would you rebuke someone for saying "You know, that woman does not seem like a good mother"? Why specifically would you say he's being racist?
