Just a question for all the Newbs. Everyone says wait until you reach your natural or at least close to your natural potential for lean body mass and strength.
Obviously there are many reasons for this, one is not to rely on steroids alone for gains, if you can't gain off cycle there's no way you can maintain gains post-cycle.
Another is being too young, obviously anyone under 21 years of age still has potential for growth (possibly even to mid twenties) and still has some natural development ahead. Also some people's bones are still growing into their twenties and they could potentially be closing the growth plates with AAS use.
Lack of experience/training, starting too early could cause results to be uninspiring due to improper training methods/diet.
Chance of injury, someone who has not developed their connective tissues (tendons, ligaments, joints) well enough is exposing himself to chance for serious injury due to explosive muscular growth during AAS cycles while connective tissues adapt more slowly (this is an issue even for someone who has reached natural potential, but somewhat less so.)
Is there anything else I'm missing?
Some say that you inhibit your potential for future gains by starting AAS too early, is this really true even for a conservative cycle?
Anyways just thought I'd throw some things out there so people who are thinking about starting AAS as an accelerated path to growth, instead of a tool to reach something beyond their natural capabilities, would have some things to think about. Trying to spread some knowledge/questions.
