Waiting Period After Accutane Cycle???

Franklin

New member
Hi,

Completed a 100mg winny cycle recently and am planning of using 40mg/day of accutane for a period of 12 weeks immediately after the winny cycle.

How soon after the accutane cycle can I begin my next bulking cycle? The next AS cycle has dbol in it.

Do I require a break for my liver to recuperate? Have been taking milk thistle throughout my previous cycle.

Thanks!

As long as your liver enzymes and triglycerides are within normal ranges, I don't think there should be any problems. But I'm no doctor and haven't taken juice right after accutane. Maybe some other brothers have an answer.

find out how long it takes for accutane to be clear from your system and then after you body has cleared it you should be good to go. Just keep taking the milk thistle.

The dangers of non observed self treatment

#1 You can use them con-currently, the liver effects of Accutane are HIGHLY overstated.

#2 12 weeks and youll just stop the breakouts, use it for 4-6 months.

#3 Get monthly bloodwork done.

#4 If you don't know what your doing, don't do it until you do.

Hey this is good news to me, I really think that if you dont do orals, and keep to a low dose of test, then the liver will be able to handle both at once ok, seems like you have to stay on for some time though. pheeew not looking forward to that, and its going to be pricey.Good luck Bro.

Its worth the $ to get the blood work then you dont have to guess if your taxing your system to much and it only costs $100 or less a month to get blood work done. You should be able to get insurance to cover the costs of accutane and doc visits/blood work that comes with the script.

To give you an idea - I did an accutance cycle (doc supervised) alongside a cycle of Test (1 gram) dbol (50mg/day) and EQ (400mg) the doctor didnt know I was on AS and my values always where within acceptable ranges.

When I was on Accutane, I had three beers and my triglycerides were all high. He almost stopped me from taking anymore. Instead I tested again 3 days later and was back within the normal ranges.

Hey SLOPAIN... Just curious to how your liver values where ok while taking 50mg dbol per day... I was on 40mg and mine were past acceptable values...

They were perfect, on top of that I was drinking like a fish 1 night out of ever week (not advisable of course but just letting you know where Im coming from). I was taking a grip of milk thistle and of course drinking gallons of water a day. I think everyone should get blood tests that uses any significant amount of gear - ever body is different - instead of asking "is this too much" you will know FOR SURE, Id advise everyone and you dont have to go to the doctors if you dont want to you can go to a lab and get it done there cheaply - they wont interpret the data but you can easily do that youself with some research on the net or even by asking some of the people on the board.

I was told it stays active for 2 weeks after you stop taking it.if everything is in normal range as far as blood work than there should not be a problem. I f I were you I would wait an extra couple of weeks just to let it clear out of your system.

Stay off the gear for a while. In many cases of accutane use, you lose most of the pimples after your treatment. I was on a 12 week treatment and my pimps started going away around week 8. I would say I was all cleared up about 2 months after my treatment ended. Being on accutane is a bitch. You are going to take this shit to make you pimple free. Put the roids on the side and clear up the pimps. Do a nice cycle after you are all cleared up. Trust me, being on accutane has many sides. It is no fun at all. Take the accutane and train natural. When cleared up, do a nice cycle and grow. Best of luck buddy

I did Accutane for a while and the only side effect I had was dry lips once in a while. I was also on gear at the time and my blood tests came back fine every time. My acne stayed totally away for about 4 months after I finished accutane but has since come back less than half strength and mainly because of gear.
I think I may do some more accutane sometime to get rid of the rest of this shit.

Peace

accutane

i am on accutane 80 mgs per day for 20 weeks...on 12th week now and acne is all gone....accutane is only toxic to liver if you take vitamin A in large amounts such as supps with vitamin A in it...1 accutane pil stays in body up to 1 month..just asked my dermo about it yesterday...any question son accutane give me an email...take care:D

There is a lot of misinformation here.

Fisrt off, Accutane does place stress on the liver. Period. That CAN manifest itself as liver problems. Sometimes it does, sometimes it does not. There are a lot of variables. But it DOES create an additonal stress.

So, it MAY be an issue. If you want to get really technical, I would think that you would especially want to stay away fro Oral AS while on accutane.

I for one would stay off gear while on Accutane.

Next issue.

Doing Accutane for 12 weeks is NOT correct. Any doc, or anyone telling you to only do it that long is wrong. Sure, it will clear you up. For NOW. But the dudes that do these 12 weeks cycles of it, well. ........ you will hear many of them say "my acne started to come back after a year .....".

Right. Becuase it was not run long enough. You need to do like 4-6 MONTHS.

Accutane can also rasie triglyceride and cholsterol levels a LOT. Trust me, I have seen people with Chol levles of like 180-190 have theirs shoot up to 325+ while on Accutane. IT HAPPENS.

Now, normally, for a brief time period in an OTHERWISE HEALTHY PERSON, this is not a great problem. Yes, high cholseterol does create additional stress on various systems, but its greates problem is LONG TERM< cumulative effects from high Chol - thats where you get the plaque on your arteries, etc. And long term stres son the heart. So, NORMALLY, having like a 300+ Chol level for a WHILE is not that big of a deal.

BUT,

If you are on a heavby duty AS ccycle, you are creating another stress. Higher blood pressure, more stres on your systems, etc. Now, all of a sudden, that temporary raise in Chol level, which by itself was no big deal, now becomes kinda dangerous. High Chol, High BP, TREMENDOUS stres due to balls-out worksouts ..... this is how normally healthym young, active people end up with heart attacks, arteris bursting, anurisms, stc.

Now, yeah ...... sure ..... look, chances are this will not happen. True. But you ARE "adding up" the risk factors ... and your number just MAY come up.

Think guys, uh ....... lets see ........ most healthy people that have had heart attacks at like age 28, or brain anurisms at age 30 ........ uh ........ well ....... THEY never though it wouold happen to them either.

So, its just an added risk. Take it or not.

But 12 weeks on Accutane - that's almost a waste of time. Besides, the hard part is weeks 2-5 anyway, it gets easier.

Yes, my typing sucks ass, I know. LOL

where does 4-6 months come from? in the accutane booklet it says it should be used 15-20 weeks, thats 5 months max.

i think thats what i remember it saying when i took it 2 years ago.
