Here's Wacken's lineup so far, the fest is August 4-6. God damn, I hate the US sometimes. Is there even going to be a Metal Fest this year? Jack's pretty much run it to the ground. The US's premier fest is gonna end up being that Boston Hardcore/Metal fest. My friends are actually driving there this summer -- to Boston from Wisconsin -- because Metal Fest has been doing so poorly.

Hmm... Ohio... not one that Jack runs, I don't think. Back in '00 or so, Jack set up like 8-10 different Metalfest's around the country. After the first year, there were only like a couple besides Milwaukee. Jersey was around for a few years. I think it was the second biggest/best one, next to Milwaukee. Me and a friend went to the Jersey Metalfest in '00, it was pretty good. Immortal's first US appearance, and they cut the power on them after a couple songs. They weren't too happy. We hung out with a drunken Katatonia for a while, too. That was funny as hell. The guitarist didn't know why we were laughing if we asked him if he knew how to play the skin flute. LOL

Man, Incantation were horrible last time I saw them. I guess I shouldn't talk, though, that was back around '01 or so.

I'd go to make fun of Acheron, though.
 
I'd go just to scream, "Kyle has a mustache!" Somehow, that'd make it worthwhile.

I kind of don't get how they figured out that lineup. Brodequin is there but Disgorge isn't? Splatterhouse shows up without Frightmare? Couldn't they car pool?

Holy shit. Why is that so familiar? I have no idea what it means, but I swear I used to. Does it involve the Grimoire, like the "davy davy stick thy head in gravy" thing?

Damn, that's gonna bug me. I know I used to know what that meant, I remember us using that phrase.

He snapped out of his coma a few months ago. I really wish he'd do a song named, "I Used to be a Vegetable, You're Still a Fruit." Hell, or even, "I'd Write New Songs if I Could Move."
