Vix...

Is the Pope Catholic? ;-)

Yep, it's a fun place for adults and kids! I'm a geek when it comes to science so I love the place!

I like the Cosci in Columbus better to be honest! It's bigger and has more to offer! Although, you may not want to head to Columbus until they get the sniper on 270.

Funny, I was stuck in Columbus Monday and Tuesday on biz. too! 'Copter's alllll over the place and more Highway Patrol seen too! I find the entire story VERY strange cuz NO ONE covered it until the major news media caught wind of the story! Shit's been happeneing since Oct. and it was not headline news 'round here.

Hey Project, darlin!

How are you? Ready for the Holidays?

Keeping warm with a new furnace or did some sexy lady finally nab your sweet self? ;-)

Hey Fly Boy! I have to be careful talkin w/ you. Testboy may think I'm trying to seduce you...hehehe (inside joke, right?)

I'm okay. I don't think I'm ready for the holidays...haven't even started thinking about shopping yet, and I have no decorations up. Probably won't have decorations up, what with the animals. The cats trash the tree, and the dogs would knock everything else over.

The furnace goes in tomorrow, and the guy's coming today at 4:30 to cut up the old one and haul it away. Figures it would get cold and snow the day I'm losing what's left of my furnace.

But, the upside is, I get my new Lennox 93% furnace tmw, with new thermostat, humidifier, and high efficiency air filter. Funny how being a homeowner makes you excited about mundane purchases.

I take my daughter on her first field trip to Cosci.....funny thing is that I went there as a kid...and my dad was a chaperone....can't wait.

Yeah, I got a kick out of that one.

Project...Great CHOICE! You'll see a HUGE difference on your gas bill with that baby!

I'm glad to took my advice on the himidifier too! :-) You will not be sorry having spent the extra $$ up front!

Beast- Awwww....She's going to love it. I bet you'll have fun too. I think I had more fun the first time I took Bri than she did! Lee took her there this past summer and she enjoyed it more that she is older. If you are ever in Columbus, hit the one down there too.

Fly Boy- The netire thread made me laugh- HARD! BTW..Hubby got a nice buck from Southern Ohio on Monday! My freezer will be full for the winter! Yipppy!

It really was a no-brainer...an extra $375 up front, and it'll keep all the wood in the house in better shape, and make it more comfortable.

I didn't go with the electronic filter because the furnace guy said it doesn't do anything more for dust than the HE filter, and unless I had really bad allergies, he didn't think it was worth it.

I'd like to have gotten the ducts cleaned too, but that's another $400-$500 that I just don't have right now.

Damn... How big is your house? I didn't know it cost that much to get ducts cleaned out.

CAll someone that specializes in that....should be about half the price, if not less.

Yep, it's pricey to have the ducts cleaned out. We had ours done a few year's ago. It was over 400 clams! It did keep the house a bit less dusty for a year.

Hey Project, maybe you'll get lucky... You may find that someone stashed a jar of cash in the duct work waaaay back in the day.

The guy who did ours ducts told me a few stories of what he's found in some ducts. Weed, jar of money, porn mags, guns, etc.

Hello Sh4dow!

What, for the duct cleaning?

The house is 2700 sq ft, with 11 runs off the furnace.

Nice I also have a new high efficiency Lennox furnace. Do you have an electronic thermostat? Is it Carrier?

Hello Sh4dow!

LOL...I checked the ducts after the furnace was dismantled tonight, and didn't see anything. I know as kids we dumped stuff in the ducts, and I was curious to see if anything was there.

HM, I am getting a new thermostat, but I think it's an Aprilaire...not sure. The new system will be in tomorrow.
