Ok, I have read that taking Vitamin C before workouts helps protect your NO stores which in turn gives yuo better blood flow to muscles and better pumps. I have also read that vitamin D, especially D3 increases the thermis effect of a meal (how many calories are used to digest your food) and boosts overall fat oxidation. I was wondering if I shuold take vitamin C in my pre workout shake, like 20 mins before hitting the gym or about an hour before hitting the gym around the same time i take caffeine? I was also wondering how efdfective Vitamin D is and when I shuold take it? :chomp:
 
well id think you get enough D from milk if you drink milk. Just because vitamin D helps boost overall fat oxidation doesnt mean its going to help a lot with building muscle. Id say that if you drank milk every day and didnt worry about it your stress would lower, thus resulting in less cortisol, thus leading to gains and keeping gains. And you get the protein and vitamin D from milk. Dont know much about it but doesnt seem like your gonna be missing anything if you dont take it.
