Spam was getting to be a pain for me a while back so I dumped all my addresses and made new ones. A bit of a hassle but now I'm not suffering any real spam at all. It's just a minor nuisance to manage a few accounts. For the odd slip like the spam I get from EF, a spam filter takes care of it and I read them sometimes, anyway.

you should cause 3 inches just aint doing nothing for me ,klu. ;)

Yea I keep getting that email from a CIA agent stating that I have visited X number of illegal websites. I checked the header of the email and noticed that the CIA's antivirus picked up and cleaned the virus before the email was sent. I called the number on the email anyways which I was scared shitless doing since I didn't know if the email was real or not. I got a recording stating that the email was not legitimate and should be deleted.

and the FBI too

I know but i have a billion emails from them.. and tons more..i want them gone.. i dont open them but it fills up junk

What you could do, at least temporarily until this scam blows over, is:

go to Hotmail --> mail --> options --> 'junk e-mail protection' --> 'delete junk e-mail' --> and then select the option of "delete junk e-mail immediately".

...this will keep them from filling up your junk folder, but will prevent any other junk from being in there either. ...so unless you periodically get non-junk junk (if that makes sense), that might be an option for you.

:)
