I find these games too 'spazzy'. Not much strategy... just 'run n gun'.
BUT I've only played the demos a couple times so I could be wrong.

Online play is much more competitive and strategic. With UT2003, it has team based play such as Capture the Flag, Bombing Run, Domination, Team Deathmatch. You will be able to speak with your teammates in the upcoming UT2004 which will be a cool option.

Has anyone downloaded the Faceoff mod for UT2003? It's a realistic mod where one team are special ops and the other are terrorists. I've only played it once so far but it seems pretty cool once I get used to it.

the last game i really enjoyed playing was gta: vice city. very cool as far as freedom of actions and gameplay in concerned. I'll have to get another playstation probably if they make another gta, because i sold it not too long ago. I used to play so many games as a kid, but now am trying to prioritize my time a bit. I like rpgs and action type games (ie zelda, vice city, etc.). Even though I haven't really played games lately, I am always tempted to divulge myself in a good game. I must admit, they're cool entertainment.

I play some pc games. right now its command & conquer generals. also like games similar to empire earth and UT2003 is cool too.

I've got an Xbox and a Gamecube. Per week, I play maybe 5 hours max of games. There are of course some times where I'll be at a friends playing Halo death match with 4 people...and we play for hours at a time.

BTW, this is the new computer I just ordered.

Gonna put in a 2.4Ghz P4, 512MB Kingston PC2700 DDR ram, a DVD/CDRW combo drive, 120gig HD and an ATI AIW video card.
