How would I go about making the mouth of an animal move from the clip I imported. You know like on Cats and Dogs or movies like that. I am making a comerical for work and came up with this idea but can't seem to get it going.

I am using Adobe Premiere and Ulead video editor

PLEASE HELP !!!!

I have downloaded the video clip and I need to make the mouth of the cat in the video to move as I dub in my own audio

well you don't mention if you have experience with premiere... here's the abbreviated explanation...

ok let's say you find a clip with the mouth moving appropriately to a part of your soundtrack... you have to a) mark the in and out spot for the video (and perhaps the soundtrack as well) so they line up in the timeline...

does this help you or do you need other/more info?

I have very little experience with Premiere. I usually use Ulead but I just downloaded it and I thought that it might let me do what I need.

But I do not have a clip with the mouth moving. I need to edit the frame and make the mouth move digitaly. This is the pain in the ass. I do not know how to edit the frames like that . I went to Adobe on line and could not find the answer.

I'm not sure that this is the right software or not.

*my* suggestion to save you time is to reshoot the cat having it move its mouth in various ways... then pick movements that look like the words you need said...

actually, that or make the mouth movements in photoshop (that will be a lot of tiff files with your pc or pct if you're using a mac) and then dump it into director...

i don't know of a way to do that in premiere.

YOur in luck. I'm doing tons of lip synching with my Anime Music Video and I'm doing it Premiere 6. Even though your using animals the process is still the same. If you'd like I could even send you my what I've completed so far on my vid so you can see how i was able to create a lip synch sequence using anime characters for various scenes.

Here's a link to a guide thats help me out a bunch.
