Viagra...how fast until you notice it?

I have some liquid viagra that I was thinking of trying out this week...Does it work faster for you than cialis? And how long does it last?
(I searched briefly but have been online for like 10 hours today, and I don't want to browse through anymore lol... )

It can take from 15 minutes to an hour or so; for me, it is always around 15 minutes, even for a 1/2 tab.

I feel some pressure/congestion in my sinuses, and know it has hit.

Good for 4 hours, but even the next morning/day, there is some effect.

Haven't done Cialis...

If I had to pick, I'd say, between 1 and 2 hours after; but really, it's all good from 15-30 minutes to 4 or so hours.

yep, I usually do 50mg; sometimes just 25 if I'm almost out, lol.

the peak plasma [] for viagra or cialis is 1.5 hrs if taken without food. Mechanism of onset action is 15 min if liquid (chew it up if it is a pill) again, without food. If it is taken with a meal, expect IOA to be around 45 min.

What everyone needs to remember is that all of the drugs for ED are basically the same. It is the marketing that sets these drugs apart. nothing more. So IMO goe for what is cheapest for max benefits.

BARF it tastes bad enough just biting a pill in half. plus you'll have bitter breath/tongue, or have to brush your teeth and lose all that residue they do have some of the quick dissolve tabs now, it still works fast enough with a split pill for me.

I took 1 ml . of the liquid (50 mgs) about 30 minutes ago...my face is hella flushed right now lol...No wood yet though...

We'll be hitting the sack in about 45 minutes so I'll see how it compares

I think the onset is faster than the cialas that I used. For fast results, I chew the pill, let it sit in my mouth for as long as I can take the bitter taste and then wash it down.

The effects will happen within 15 minutes this way usually.

I have taken the whole pill on a full stomach without chewing and has taken over 1/2 hour + before I started to feel the effects.

The effect for me will last until sometime the next morning.

You don't automatically get a woody just from taking it. There still has to be some sort of follow up stimulous whether it be physical or mental...


I tried viagra for the very first time a few weeks ago when I was still in recovery mode and while my erections still weren't back to 100% of their normal hardness. A doctor friend gave me a sample pack to try it out, (I'm only 40).

My experience was that a chewed up 50mg took about 30 minutes to "kick in". During sex, my resulting erection seemed to be slightly fuller than even my normal post recovery erections. And even during periods of rest between sexual activity, I stayed semi hard but not fully erect. The effect seemed to last for about 2 1/2 hours.

The only thing that I didn't like about it was that it seemed like took forever to get off, (even when I was trying to). Good for those with premature problems, but since that's not normally a problem for me it was a little annoying. (You can only go so long before your start getting rug burn...).

I'm back to my normal self now and don't need it for normal sexual activity. But I'm still keeping the sample pack around for a little boost during my next recovery cycle.

I have noticed the same thing. I believe it is due to the increased firmness. This causes a decrease in sensitivity. At least for me.

Though your other info was useful and informative . All in all I liked it better than cialis...faster kick in and seems predominantly worn off this morning...(this is when cialis has worked best for me...the following morning...)

The line about needing it or not needing it is not really applicable with Viagra and Cialis anymore. I would bet that most people really don’t need them, but they take them anyway because they’re just really fun to try once in a while. In a way, they have become recreational drugs.
