Vets please read - FDA troubles - need help

hmmmmmm.......... well, I have an order out from a new supplier who screwed up and sent it in a chem drum (kilo). now, I havent found out what he marked it as (chem name) yet but obviously as a chemical and so it was flagged and seems to have been delayed. It was sent UPS express from overseas and it is currently in the KY warehouse - supposedly being checked by the FDA - It was already checked by the officials in the exporting country. Anyone know what the FDA checks for? will they just check the manifest (I think it is listed as tamoxifen)? or will they do a GC test to see if it is indeed what it claims - the concern is because it is actually a DEA scheduled substance (test). How long of a wait will it be before I can assume there is trouble since it isnt going on its merry way and are there any flags that I can see looking on the UPS tracking system?

Bro that can't be good for you. If they're checking it out like that, I'd say the best thing you can hope for is that they seize it and leave you alone.

well.. chances are they'll test for it... find out what it is... seizure it.. and send you a letter... then u just throw it out.

Can't you get any higher penelties or anything when importing chemicals??? I was thinking of to import Octapamine...

oh actually I think they were smarter than I thought and put it as something closely related but legal. well, lets see how it goes - The fact that he listed as I told him to gives me some serious relief.
