Very strange email to my Cyber-rights account!!!

I recieved this email today with the subject
"Warning about your email account"

Dear user, the management of Cyber-rights.net mailing system wants to let you know that,

Your e-mail account will be disabled because of improper using in next
three days, if you are still wishing to use it, please, resign your
account information.

For further details see the attach.

For security reasons attached file is password protected. The password is "*****".

there's a zip file attached that I have no intention of opening...anyone else recieve this?

Got it at Yahoo too. They try to make the email look as official as possible. The attachment is a virus.

There are so many at the moment. I just always delete anything with an attachment

seems like its getting out of hand......i get atleast 2 a day.they usally have a zip attached with some sort of exe in the zip.I even got some from people i recognize from other boards,they must have opened the attachments then what ever this virus is starts sending out emails from their address book.

I downloaded the attachment, scanned it, and didn't show a virus. When i unzipped it, there was nothing in the folder that i supposed to contain whatever is in the zipped file. However, I looked at some things and there is an executable (.exe) file there. I tried to execute it on friends computer, lol, and it asked for a password.
