Very Painful Injection??

I did my regular shot just now - test cyp - 250mg/ml (wont say the name).
did the regular routine, alcholol swab, clean the injection spot - on my delt. clean the top of the bottle, do the shot, when I pull the needle out, I got this extremely sharp burning sensation under my skin where i did the shot, and it spread out a bit up the delt (did not travel past the delt though). it felt like I injected something and as it dissipated through the muscle it really burned. extreme pain went away in about 30 -45 seconds. though 10 minutes later I can still feel it a bit.
spot is not red, or swollen.

never had this happen before - have many shots from the same bottle, nothing different as far as routine this time. any thoughts?

It happens sometimes. Some hurt, some dont.
