what exactly does this mean that i see i see protein bars with like 28 carbs and on the thing is says on 3? does this mean the bar really only has 3 or does it have 28?i mean it makes a huge difference i would like to take one before bed if it only has 3..please someone explain this to me so i know in the future..also how would i count this towards my diet would i count it as eating 28 carbs or 3? thanks!

when they say net impact they mean the carbohydrates that
will actually affect your blood sugar level.

Not all of them may be absorbed or converted into glucose so you don't need to worry about them upping your blood sugar level.

but keep a safe eye on that stuff, sugar alcohols are sometimes removed from net impact carb counts, they do raise blood sugar levels but so slowly that sometimes they are not counted

just be wary

They don't cause a insulin burst. They are slowly absored.

For some this is true but not always. People respond differently to Glycerine, Malitol, sorbitol, etc. I would recommend having a shake b4 bed instead, no hidden BS in there. But Im a Bar Phobe so take it for what its worth I guess.

Those net impact carbs should be counted as carbs..Why? Because they are carbs.

its impossible to make a bar w/o a lot of carbs because fat and protein is whats left and there would be no texture and good taste to the bars w/o carbs.

If you are on a keto diet EAT NO BARS AT ALL! Because it will throw you outta ketosis..I know...I got suckered by the bars before:(

i ate the shit outta CarbSolution bars and didnt' have a problem staying in keto... each person is different. you have to find out what works for you
