Wake up, dude. I've made terrific gains since becoming a vegetarian, most of my protein has come from Whey, milk, yogurt, casein, soy and egg. I'd say egg and whey are the undisputed kings of the protein world ... so why wouldn't a vegetarian make good gains if he eats just as much protein from those sources as you eat from chicken, beef, fish, etc?
