Vegan diet???

I'm not vegan, but a friend who is asked me if I could suggest a diet to help her increase her lean muscle mass??? Anyone have any resources??? I've never been asked this question before!!!
 
legumes, and 1.5g protein x goal body weight.. how she gets it is her issue.. she's choosing 2 different goals, it's not impossible, but..

my son in law is the same, he's a runner, until he started taking in additional protein his recovery from training was 7-10 days after a full marathon;; now he's recovered after 3-4 which is what would be expected..

Does your friend like tofu? Tofu is an excellent source of protein for vegetarians. Other vegetarian-friendly foods are eggs, milk, and whey.
