Varadero Cuba!!!

Hey All, I'm going to Varadero on December 30th 2007 for 8 days! I booked in at the Barcelo Solymar however I can still change to a different resort if I want to. Just wondering if anyone has been to Varadero and where they stayed and what their experiences were like! Thanks all!

Been there 4x. All of them at the Melia varadero which is IMHo the best resort you could possibly find (and the best spot too). Would go back anytime. Loved Cuba and Varadero, pretty cheap compared to Cancun (that place sucks donkey balls) and other "hot spots".
