With var only,you likely won't see dramatic changes in SCALE weight,but what you will see is a dramatic shift in overall body composition(i.e. fat tissue melting off with a simultanious gain in lean body mass).So the scale might not move but a few lbs,but the mirror/tape measure will tell you the true story.If you want to maximize the potential of anabolism from var,feed into it's primary mechanisms of activity:
Enhanced Creatine Sythesis-Take in at least 10-15grams of creatine daily.
Enhanced protein sythesis/decreased protein breakdown/degradation-Take in at least 1-1.5grams of protein per lb of bodyweight daily,fed in constant intervals,say every 3 hours,round the clock.
