VAR powder

Not to sure on the melting test. But it looks like a white powder. Have you seen cocaine? Well kinda like that but not as cyrstally or grainy. It also looks like much less that you would expect per volume.
It all depends on your source bro. If you get it from the right people you have no worries. If its from a fly-by-night, you should lie in bed at night in a cold sweat wondering if its Var you have. lol.

You can always send it to SFCS and have them test it.....it'll cost $100 though

Simple....boiling water with a vial in the center, and with a thermostat monitoring the temp and digital is better. Key is to get the temp close, then put powder on as going over the temp will I.e.
Var
Start stove boil water...put vial in the center with "water" in it.....monitor temp till it reaches 455 degrees fahrenheit, 235 degrees celsius...(I use a bunsen burner in a lab situation) Add the vial with powder....adjust to the top end of the melting point...if powder melts...then the properties are right. Still might not make it legit but you'll know when you go to use.
