Im a competitive swimmer looking into a var only cycle. I know oral onlys seem to be frowned on. There is little to no information on anabolics in my sport but i figured this would be a good place to ask. I lift 3 days a week and swim 6 days a week. I have professional trainers and a solid nutrition plan mapped out. I was thinking 40mg daily on var for 6 weeks. Var is expensive but money isnt really the issue. If anyone could point me in the right direction in terms of dosage or other options i would appreciate it.
 
you could do 60mgs ed for 6-8 weeks just make sure you run a proper pct because it will shut down your natural test production
 
What are you trying to accomplish?

A little bit of lean muscle?

I'm assuming since you are a swimmer that you don't really want to "bulk up".
 
yeah I'm not looking for mass whatsoever. Id just like to get stronger and recover more efficiently without adding water weight.

last thing you want to do is get trapped by juice and be shut down WHILE your competing

Use Creatine ( 5-8 grams per day)
Glutamine (20-35 grams per day)
Beta Alanine
protien shakes

Pre Workout Stim like Amplify02/ or LipoFlame etc
 
OMEGA, I've been using creatine, protein and glutamine for a few seasons now and was just looking for something more extreme. Like all newbs i have it in my brain to do a cycle, would running a cycle out of season avoid shutting me down in comp? or is my sport just not compatible with the juice at any point. The East German woman did turn manly as hell but they dominated the olympics after their cycle.

On a larger scope, what does that translate to?

Lower sex drive? bad sides?


every steroid is a testosterone in your body, so your body sees that and stops producing the natty test. Therefore it could shut you down. low test could equal low sex drive, lose weight, fucked up hormones, not makin gains in the gym, etc etc etc

but to the OP i would do an anavar cycle. I dont agree with omega, I think youll be fine competing even after ur anavar only cycle, because even if u did have a little less as good performance youd have more strength, stamina, and be faster.

IMO, if you're a professional swimmer, something like equipoise would be better suited for endurance especially. Don't you get tested?
 
Eq may put on some extra muscle mass that he doesn't want. It is great though for endurance.

I think Var will be fine man. You will be stronger, look better...nothing really negative about it. But yes, your test production will be affected. Hopefully, if you don't go overboard it will recover with some basic PCT products.

No but id imagine the shoulder cramps would be pretty badd swimming... and whoever said creatine are you kidding all the water weight would slow him down!
 
I've looked into eq as well that was my other option. The water weight creatine puts on is minimal and i stop taking it about a month prior to my big meet. Yeah there is some testing involved but a condom a needle and a clean friend gets me around it. I've researched var pretty extensively but i didn't go that deep into EQ, ill have to hit the books on it.

Is there a video on that method? ;) Lmaooo and i put on 50 lbs pure bloat on creatine in high school and all i was left with after was the stretch marks... i also got puffy nips on it musta had d-bol or something in it ughhhhhh
