Sorry, I'm a Diet Pepsi drinker, and by drinker I mean guzzler. I put back roughly 6.5 cans a day maybe. I'm a big guy though so I figure I'm kinda like a god and stuff. Hence, I can do whatever I want. Also, if you put cocaine in there, it's way better. Only like a gram or two - good times.

They don't sell Diet Cherry, even non-Diet Cherry over here. They did for a while, but I don't think it took off at the time. It probably would if it were to be re-released...

I've yet to taste one diet soda that does not leave behind a horrible aftertaste. I can't stand the stuff.
I had a sip of my friends new diet-vanilla yesterday and it was no where near as nice as the non-diet vanilla coke
Mmmmmm vanilla goodness. It's so nice with ice cream! Not that I get to enjoy that sort of thing often

Vanilla Diet Coke sounds GRRRRRREEEAAAAT!!!! I wish I could add it to my repertuour of Diet Coke Mega-Consumption.
Alas, I am in Hong Kong and these motherfuckers don't even have Plain Diet Coke in their soda machines. They have to have the Lemon SHIT-drink.
Ok, keep the lemon flavor in citrus soda, and leave the diet coke alone for the addicts, OK?

diet RC cola has no after taste, it's made with splenda.

I am currently 1/3 of the way through a 2 litre bottle of Lemon Diet Coke.

I think with a lot of people it's habit - they are used to ordering diet cokes on their own, so they don't think when in McDs etc.
Usually I just dirnk diet coke even when cheating or taking a day off eating clean, as I have a stash of 2-litre bottles handy all the time, if I bulk buy them I get money off at my local branch of Iceland (2 bottles for the price of one, 3 for the price of 2, it varies).
One exception is eating really hot spicy food like curry. Then, actualy sugar is the best way of getting rid of excessive chilli heat - hence a small glass of real coke is better than a gallon jug of water for the occasional overheating mouth (and considering the number of carbs in your average takeout, it makes no difference, mmm curry is my fav cheat dinner..).
