No plans. We usually order choc covered fruit from Edible Arrangement and give each other blowjobs. Pretty satisfying. And romantic

I'm terrified of it, but I have to face it, so I picked up a few things to be "ready"... It's also a rough day for my wife, as she's had past relationships end due to ex-boyfriends' Valentine's Day screw-ups. In fact, last year around Valentine's Day, she and I were in a little misunderstanding, which caused her to go to her parents' house for 3 days. That was (thankfully) fully worked out and behind us, but there's something about Valentine's Day that is a jinx on relationships...

I have a great horror story -- I married my first husband on Valentine's day. Spectacular mistake on numerous levels.

Take away lesson: Tying relationship high points to holidays (including birthdays) superficially may be cute and/or romantic but is a bad idea. If the relationship fails, you've got this lovely yearly reminder ... even if the relationship lasts presents, vacations and restaurants are usually twice as expensive.
 
I had a date on Valendtines Day one time. He was really nice and sweet but he gave me chocoatates!! I wish for flowers or something like that. I have no date for this year. Does anybody do daytime activity on Valentines Day? Someone on the Female Section said she might do a picnic for her new boyfriend. I think that sounds very romantic her friend would certainly like that. Hope everybody has a great Valentine's Day!
 
Never been a huge vday person...a guy I was dating when I was 19 kinda soured me on it. I didn't pressure him to do anything elaborate at all - in fact, I cooked HIM steak and lobster for dinner. The next night he took me out on this elaborate valentines day date that included dinner at a fancy place, comedy club, etc...and bitched about the money he was spending the entire night. Money I never asked him to spend or expected him to spend. When you put pressure and expectation on romance, it kinda stops being romantic.

I'll do something with the guy, but it will be low key.
 
Working. 8am-8am.

I did just spend 3 hours making hearts with candies in them for my preschool daughter to take to class that day. Got her a teddy bear and some lollipop cupcakes. She is, after all, my Valentine.
