USPS Experts, please help...

My source sent me an e-mail saying my package was shipped yesterday (8/22) and gave me a USPS tracking number. When I go to the USPS site and enter the number it says:

<< Your item was accepted at 11:18 am on August 21, 2003 in [City, Sate, Zip] >>

It displays a City, State and Zip that does not match mine (I ommitted it above). I would have expected it to say my item was sent from this place, rather than received there. This seems more like confirmation than delivery...

Anyone know what's going on?

JJ

i believe you can also call the number in too, but might be risky.......email him back and tell him what has happened.

It's fine. It always says it was accepted in the senders city, state zip then when it was delivered, it will say delivered in your city, state, zip. This is normal....

yup this bro is 100% right.

Yes it always says where it was shipped from at first. But don't get all crazy about tracking your package, all it takes is one postal worker to forget to scan yours and everything starts looking weird.
