I asked about this at my PO. First, the website is sometimes 24-48 hrs. behind the actual scanning. Second, if you ever have a question about the delivery confirmation, you can go to the PO and have them look it up on their computer or you can call the main PO phone number. Their computers are on real-time and can give more details. Lastly, I have found that sometimes the postal delievery person fails to scan the package once it is delivered--so it will never show up in the system as delivered. One other point, if the package doesn't fit in the mailbox, a pink slip is generated for the receiver to go to the PO to pick it up. It will not show the package as delivered until it is picked up at the PO.
