Real men work for a living! Go the enlistment route first! :Chef: :tuc:

Always remember, every marine is a rifleman foremost. Talk to the Navy ROTC peeps at your college, they can point you in the right direction.

All we have is AROTC and AFROTC--which i was in.

How strict are the marines on minor misdemeanors?

dont go to ur local recruiter they can only enlist you have to go to ur OSO=officer selection officer there is like like 1 per state

I had a criminal mischief charge a few months prior to going in and they yanked my guaranteed east coast MP job, and sent me in as open.

every cahrge is diff...i got a dui dropped when i told them i was going in...if u havent gone in yet u can maybe work out a deal with the DA

If you want a good NCO job, look into working your way up to USAF Loadmaster..

You get to be in the air and get higher flight pay, you get to see lots of cities for
like 5 hours and you get to boss around a bunch of kids like a drill sgt.

Also you get mad respect from the flight crews, because if you F up their weight distrib or load tie downs, they will likely all die in a crash..

Only down side is you may get stuck playing steward serving food and shit to the grunts in transit on the personel flights.

You need t get a hold of the OSO, officer selection officer. OCS and PLC is the same thing. PLC is where it is broken up into two summers 6 weeks each and OCS is straight through 10 weeks before your senior year or just after you graduate.

I went to PLC after being enlisted. It was a cake walk. Pm me for any other information you may need.
