..is the title of my research paper. 25 Pages, due tomorrow afternoon. Time to start typing :)

Control of the UAV is accomplished via Cloud Cap Technology’s Piccolo avionics system. The Piccolo is complete integrated avionics system that includes a core autopilot, fight sensors, navigation, wireless communication and payload interface. Able to use a variety of data links, the Piccolo is controlled from a ground station that allows the control of up to 10 UAVs at a time.
 
already googled the heck out of it. That couple with all the notes while writing the software.... I'll be beat when I'm done, but at least I'll be DONE. :)

Keeping track of the UAV’s altitude above ground level (AGL) is important. When a flight plan is transmitted and stored in the UAV’s autopilot (Picollo) each waypoint has an altitude attached to it. This altitude is a mean sea level (MSL) altitude. This MSL altitude is the altitude that the autopilot will attempt to maintain using its onboard pitot static system. If the MSL altitude is placed too low, it could cause the UAV to impact the ground. To graphically display the AGL data of the UAV, an information box is provided and can be toggled off or on to declutter the screen as necessary. The AGL data is derived using the UAV’s current GPS position and data from NIMA’s Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED). If DTED is not present for the UAV’s current position no AGL data is returned. This information block also presents pertintent UAV information such as course and windspeed direction.

11 pages of double spaced text right now. Need about 20 pages before I throw in a butt load of pictures and screen shots of software. The night is young, but I'm about half way there.

I'mm trying to break the 400 post mark by the time the night is thru (along with finishing this fricken paper)
